ABOUT

Abby Klinkenberg, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Meet Abby Klinkenberg, Doctor of Physical Therapy. Abby's love for physical therapy started on the soccer field, playing at the Division I level at Eastern. It was there she got hooked on everything from training to sports physiology, which led her to graduate with a degree in Pre-Physical Therapy and Exercise Science.

Abby Klinkenberg completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she trained under experienced faculty in state-of-the-art facilities. The program emphasized hands-on experience and a comprehensive approach to patient care, preparing her well for a successful career in physical therapy.

Her choice to pursue this career was sparked not only by her own sports injuries but also by her family’s experiences with brain injuries and hospital stays. These personal stories drive her commitment to empowering patients by working together to create personalized, effective treatment plans.

Her approach is all about focusing on what patients need to get better, combining exercise and hands-on techniques to help improve their daily lives. Abby believes in an exercise forward approach and combines both of her degrees, her personal fitness background, and advanced coursework to create a well rounded rehab program.

When she’s not at work, you'll find Abby outdoors—whether that’s hanging out with her family and her dog, playing a pickup game of soccer, or just enjoying the sunshine.

Abby is excited to bring her passion and skills to our team, helping each patient achieve their healthiest, most active life.
