ABOUT
Garrett Burr, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Garrett graduated with his physical therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX. He has always had a passion for sports and grew up playing soccer. After years of being limited in sports participation due to chronic patellar tendon pain, he finally experienced break-throughs while collaborating and working with physical therapists. These experiences ultimately drove him to pursue physical therapy as a career. Since graduation Garrett has worked in several different settings and treated a broad range of populations, from working with older adults to high school athletes to recreational athletes and weekend warriors.
Garrett’s passion for physical therapy continually grows as he pursues further education to strengthen his knowledge to better serve active individuals. He employs an active approach to rehabilitation and is passionate about open communication and individualized care throughout the rehab process while empowering each patient to feel confident as they work towards living the life they want to live. In his free time he enjoys lifting weights, hiking, and watching and playing sports.
